I’m Sofia, a Communication Designer and Themed Entertainment Designer with an MFA from SCAD. I’m passionate about crafting immersive worlds that spark emotion, imagination, and connection. Through concept design, storytelling, and visual development, I bring ideas to life with creativity and purpose.
Growing up with a love for art, music, and storytelling, I was always drawn to creating experiences that made people feel special. I earned my undergraduate degree in Communication Design in Bogotá, Colombia, where I discovered the power of visuals to communicate ideas and inspire imagination.
Now, as a themed entertainment design student at SCAD, I combine my background in graphic design with my passion for immersive experiences, whether it’s designing a ride, an exhibit, or a conceptual space beyond Earth’s atmosphere. I believe great design starts with empathy, curiosity, and a story worth telling.
Every project I take on is a chance to learn, to push boundaries, and to create something meaningful that not only looks beautiful but also connects deeply with its audience.
